Join us in celebrating the King of Grapes. All hail Cabernet! How do you show your love? Simple...
Join Cork'd and the Wine Library team on September 2, 2010 at the Roger Smith Hotel. We'll be providing all the Free Cabernet for you to taste. You'll just need to tell the world what you're tasting, using the #Cabernet hashtag on Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Gowalla, and any other Social Media platform of your choice. Interact with a kick ass New York City crowd, as well as fellow Cabernet drinkers across the globe!
How did this all come about? Rick Bakas, social media director for Napa Valley's St. Supery Vineyards is the brains behind the idea. In the past, he's coordinated similar successful events for grapes like #Chardonnay and #SauvBlanc. Now, it's time to put the King on its throne, with #Cabernet Day! We were so excited by his idea, that we just had to get in on the action.
Whether it's a seductive and elegant Bordeaux that you like, or it's a big and bold Napa Valley variety you prefer, we'll have many styles on hand to taste. Just bring a smartphone with you in order to update and connect with #Cabernet drinkers across all your social media sites.
